CATHOLIC COMMUNITY OF WASHINGTON SCRIP PROGRAM

                                              WHAT IS SCRIP?

Scrip is a program that offers individuals a chance to purchase gift certificates and gift cards to local
merchants and nationwide stores, restaurants, and more.  All purchases are made for the face value of
the certificate, so it’s like having FREE money.  The merchant donates a percentage for each purchase.

Example:   You usually purchase $50 worth of groceries from Buehlers each week.  If you buy a gift
card from the SCRIP program we make $3.00 or 6%.  Lunch Gift Cards to area fast food restaurants
are available from 4-10%

It really adds up because most of the stores and restaurants in Washington and Evansville are in the
program.   Target and JayC are not but they have other school fundraising programs.

Go on line to
www.glscrip.com for the complete line of products nationally, just click on the Retailers

We also offer a CCW SCRIP GIFT CARD which can be redeemed for any SCRIP in stock or available
on line.

To date we have raised over $9000 with the Scrip program.  If 30 more customers would use it
regularly to purchase their weekly groceries, gas, and meals out ($100 per week),  we would raise over
$20,000 a year.

Scrip is administered by Ron Beckman and is overseen by a Scrip committee of Cindy Wichman, Debbie
Wichman, Dave Carie, Ann Perkins, and Brenda Sobecki
